It really takes 2 people to assemble it because one person needs to hold the wrench while the other person torques it down. The assembly instructions were easy to follow. The quality of the product is excellent. The only complaint I have is when you adjust the tension of the machine, you have to turn the tension knob really, really tight, otherwise, it releases the tension. This rowing machine is very quiet and performs smoothly. I would highly recommend this machine. I received this rowing machine as a gift from my husband for my birthday. After 4 hours of use, one of the hydraulic shocks developed a "dead spot" at the start of the stroke. I called the Stamina toll free number for customer support. They sent out a replacement shock which seems to be working OK. <br/><br/>The 4 roller wheels on the seat slide are molded plastic. They aren't exactly round so they "rumble" a little bit. It would be nice if they were smooth without mold marks on the running surfaces.
