I have had this row machine for a week now and it has been working great. The first row machine I bought (a different brand of row machine) broke down after 15 min of use, but the Stamina Body Glider is well built and very easy to use. The instruction booklet is very clear. It only took a few minutes to put the machine together.

The amount of resistance is adjustable and the machine is very quiet. The only noise you hear is from the shock absorber type device which provides the resistance. It looks and feels like a more expensive piece of equipment, but provides the same type of workout that those higher priced models provide. Relatively lightweight, the Stamina Body Glider comes in at around 35lbs. The light weight makes it easy to move the machine around. I am thoroughly satisfied with this machine so far and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a row machine.

    I’ve had this for 1 1/2 years – still a great machine
I’ve used this machine for 45 min every other day for a year and a half. It is this only exercise that I do and I have seen remarkable results.

    .
    PROS:
    a. Real rowing (oar-like) action, rather than just pulling on a single T-bar.
    b. Comfortable even with tall people (I’m 6′1′).
    c. Adjustable rowing tension.
    d. A very sturdy, rigid, and well-built frame.
    e. Easy to assemble.
    f. Takes little room to use.
    g. Very low cost (one hundred twenty dollars).

    CONS:
    a. The seat is not well padded.
    b. The unit creaks and squeaks a bit until it is warmed-up.
    c. No instructions explaining how to actually row properly. (I found some great videos and info on the Web, however, that instruct as to how to use rowing machines).

You simply cannot beat this Stamina Body Trac Rowing Machine at this very low cost — it is an amazing deal!

I usually find the reviews to be really helpful here and have never felt compelled to complain about a product but this machine is just too big for me. I’m 5′4″ and wear a 7 1/2 shoe, my feet absolutely will not stay in the pedals. My knees felt stressed and painful after using the machine for a few minutes and my knee constantly hit the middle track. No matter what I do I cannot seem to get this machine to work well with mw.

My husband is taller, 5′11″, and it seems to be fine for him but if your a smaller woman I do not suggest getting this machine.

The Best Money That I Ever Spent.
I simply love it. During high school and college i used to row competitively. The Stamina 1050 feels a lot like the real thing.

    Disappointed
Just received mine and put it together. First off, like a lot of other reviews, mine also was missing screws needed for assembly.

    Good enough
Setup was fine and easy. All the parts were there. The machine works fairly well. It’s smooth and the action on the arms is good.

    Excellent machine with one drawback
I normally don’t leave reviews even though I rely on them myself for advice when purchasing items online. So for what it’s worth here is my take on this row machine.

    Good, basic row machine
I read a LOT of reviews before settling on this model. There were some issues in other reviews, but it seemed worth giving it a try. Let me tell you, it is.

Fine machine – cheap foot straps
Good product – however, some of the plastic handle pieces came in chipped and/or broken off and contacted seller who was going to ship out new replacement pieces and never heard…
